When do you need to wash your hands?

Not only must hand washing be done properly, it must also be done at the right time. Here are some times when you "must" wash your hands:

Steps to wash hands properly with soap and hand sanitizer

To help people improve their health and prevent diseases, the Ministry of Health has provided detailed instructions on how to wash hands with the following 6 steps:

Step 1: Wet your hands with clean water. Rub the bar of soap into your palms, then rub your palms together.

Step 2: Wash your fingers

Step 3: Rub the palm of one hand on the back of the other hand and vice versa.
Step 4: Rub your palms together, rubbing your fingers firmly between the fingers.

Step 5: Rub the fingertips into the palm of the other hand and vice versa.

Step 6: Wash your hands with clean water and dry.
